The Girls Wrestling Meet that was to be held tomorrow ( January 15th) at Battle Creek has been postponed!
The JrH Boys Basketball Tournament that was to be held Monday January 15th at Summerland has been cancelled.
Staff that was scheduled to go to Norfolk tomorrow, we will not be attending the mid-year in-service. Instead, all staff should report to school at 10:00 am. We will meet in the aux gym at 10:30 with more information about the day. At this time I don’t have plans for lunch at school, this will be discussed at the meeting. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at school. KF

It's Game Day for the Summerland Basketball Teams! There is ANOTHER time change! There will ne NO Girls or Boys JV. Varsity Girls will begin at 4:30 with Varsity Boys to follow at around 6:00. If will start early if possible!
The JrH BB Teams are in action as well! The JrH Girls will begin at 2:30 with Boys to follow around 4:00. These games will be held in the Aux Gym!

Good evening, due to the continued snow, wind, and road conditions there will be NO SCHOOL at Summerland Public School tomorrow, January 12. There will be no extra curricular activities. JV Girls at 4:00, JV Boys to follow with a shortened warmup, Girls Varsity at 5:30 and Boys Varsity to follow around 7:00. We will have a rolling start time. Times listed are approx. We will run one right after the other!
Tomorrow night at 5:30 there will be an informational meeting regarding the start up of the Summerland Public School Foundation. The meeting will be held in the commons area near the lunchroom entrance. Laura Ferguson will be conducting the meeting along with Ed Nordby. If there are any questions please contact Mr. Finke at the school.
The Creighton Basketball Game that was scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 11th. Girls Jv will play at 4:00 (2Q), Boys JV 4:45 (2Q), Girls Varsity at 6:00 and Boys Varsity at 7:30. All games will be played in the Main Gym. The JrH Basketball games for Thursday vs EPPJ have been moved up in time. Girls JrH will begin at 2:30 with boys to follow at around 3:45. Those games will be played in the Aux Gym!

For those driving to school please allow extra time and observe winter driving conditions. The forecast calls for colder temperatures so dress appropriately and take your time so your arrive safely.
