The American Degree is the highest degree in the FFA and shows a members dedication to the organization, community involvement, and leadership skills learned along the way. She is the first member to earn the degree from Summerland!

Our High School/ Jr. High/ CLC friends visited our Den groups today for a fun Thanksgiving coloring activity!
Have you completed a random act of kindness today? All of our students did! We invited CLC students to our building and together we all decorated Thanksgiving placemats to donate to local nursing homes! What a great day to be Bobcats!!
The Elementary kids have been busy creating their wish lists today from the Book Fair! Teachers also have totes they have put books in! If you would like to purchase a book for their classroom, pick which book you want out of their tote, pay for it and your child can take it to her!! Please remind your child there is tax and if they pay in cash and we will round up to the nearest 5 or 10! No pennies in the till! Hey Everyone! Guess what is here and set up ready to go Monday? If you guess the Scholastic Book Fair you are correct!! Students will be making their wish lists on Monday. The Book Fair will run from November 13th to November 21st until 1:00! Kids can shop starting at 7:45 am before school, until 4:00 pm after school and at noon recess. Please remind them the bus will not wait for them! Setting up an eWallet works great! Also, please talk to them about how much money they are bringing! Walter knows how to brighten others' day with simple acts of kindness. For example, last week he surprised his teacher and classmates with candy. It was his own candy from trick-or-treating, and he just randomly was giving it out to others. Walter might be full of tricks, but he sure knows how to treat people with kindness!
