Summerland PK-12 MTSS Team Wows Attendees at the NeMTSS Summit in Kearney!
Both the Elementary and 7-12 MTSS Teams were selected to present their successful journeys in the MTSS process!

Congratulations to Brekkan (6th) and Brantley, Kendyl, Shaylah, and Makayla (5th) for being today's Bobcat Catches of the Day! Brekkan is nominated for his kindness and responsibility in helping unload a kitchen delivery. There will be a change to the Calendar for next week. The JrH VB team will now be playing at St. Mary's on Friday, Oct 17th at 2:00 and NOT on Oct 16th. Please make that change on your calendar! It will be A Team followed by B Team!

4:00 HS Girls, 4:40ish HS Boys, 5:20ish JrH Girls and 5:45ish JrH Boys. Times are rolling and approx!

2:30 - JrH C2 Team (2 sets to 21), followed by C1 (2 sets to 21), B (2/3 to 21) and then A Team (2/3 to 25) 3rd sets will be to 15 on all gms!

The Lady Bobcats VB Teams are in action tonight at Summerland taking on O'Neill! Senior/Parent's Night will begin after the JV VB Game approx 6:30!

It is also a PINK OUT Night showing our support for Breast Cancer Awareness. There will be a Silent Auction that has so many awesome gifts to bid on! The proceeds from the night will go to the family of an O'Neill volleyball players, whose mom is currently fighting breast cancer - Rachel Kruger Kallhoff (a former Clearwater Grad). Summerland and O'Neill are joining forces and are going to do a silent auction in the lunchroom during the Matches. There will also be a table with free will baked goods! Bids will close after the 2nd game (set) of the Varsity Match! We hope to see you there showing your support for the Volleyball Teams, Breast Cancer Awareness and the Kallhoff Family! A HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped make tonight possible and for all the generous gifts that were donated!

Exciting Announcement---Minnesota author Kevin Lovegreen will be visiting Summerland Public School on Wednesday, October 22nd. He will be sharing his love of the outdoors with students in grades Kindergarten--8th Grade. Book order forms will be sent home with students today for those who wish to purchase his books, a coloring book, or animal calls. These are due back to Mrs. Whiting by October 15th.
