It's Game Day
Congratulations to Tatum (5th) and Oaklynn (K) for being today's Bobcat Catch of the Day! Tatum is nominated for her kindness in offering to help a teacher carry a heavy load of water bottles, and Oaklynn is nominated for her kindness toward a new student in her class, helping him find his way and talking kindly to him. Way to show our character trait of kindness, girls!

On Tuesday, Sept 16th the C/JV Game vs Hartington Newcastle will start at 5:00. The 1st set will be C Team and the last 2 sets will be JV. Varsity will begin at 6:00!!!
The JrH/HS Cross Country Teams will be in action today at the Laurel Golf Course starting at 10:00!! They will run in this order: HS Girls, HS Boys, MS Girls, MS Boys!
The Bobcat JV/V VB Teams will be in action tonight at Summerland! JV and V will play at the same time. JV will play in the Aux Gym and Varsity will be in the Main Gym!

Congratulations to Carson (6th grade) for being today's Bobcat Catch of the Day! Carson is nominated for his kindness and responsibility in working with his kindergarten reading buddy who had a cut finger. Carson took care of the kindergartener by getting a band-aid and and consoling so that they could continue to read!

The NE VR Truck is in the Summerland parking lot! Students in grades K-8th grade get to visit the virtual reality truck today or tomorrow. This educational experience exposes students to the endless possibilities of virtual reality.
K-3rd Grade Parents - If you received and IRIP Letter in the envelope your child brought home that also had the NE Reads Letter as well as the Acadience info, there were 2 copies, one for you to keep and one to sign and send back. If you haven't sent the sign IRIP back to school yet, can you please do so?
Our Keep the Quote winner this week is 3rd grader, Melanie!
Melanie is always kind to those around her. She is helpful and doesn't speak unkindly to anyone. If she disagrees with what another classmate is saying, she kindly tells them so and then discusses why she thinks they may be incorrect. Melanie definitely displays our CATS rule of choosing kindness at Summerland!
