Congratulations to Maverick Schacht for being today's Bobcat Catch of the Day! Maverick was nominated for his responsibility and kindness. He stopped and asked a teacher if he had time to pick up the papertowels on the floor outside the elementary classrooms. When she told him he did have time, he picked up all of the trash and threw it away!

This week's Keep the Quote winner was 5th grader, Gus Ahlers. Gus was nominated for standing up for a friend on the playground. When there was an altercation, Gus stepped in to help a friend in need and did so in a respectful, upstanding way!

The Bobcat Football Team will be headed to Plainview today with a 7:00 kick-off time. We ask that you continue to cheer in a positive manner! We all love a loud, proud, positive Bobcat crowd! There are a lot of little eyes and ears at games! Be respectful Respect the officials, coaches, and other spectators. Don't criticize calls made by officials. Be supportive Encourage your child to play fairly and to the best of their ability. Be positive about your child's past experiences and successes. Be gracious If you win, don't rub it in to the other team. If you lose, don't make excuses or blame others. Be compassionate Show appreciation for the other team. Be mindful of your emotions If you feel frustrated, remove yourself from the situation for a few minutes. Remember it's just a game Even if the stakes feel high, the example you set for your child is more important than the outcome of the game.
