THANK YOU so much to all the moms, special guests and high school girls that stepped in to enjoy Muffins With Moms with the Summerland Elementary Students!! We had an AWESOME Turnout!! Over 325 were at school this morning!!! We appreciate you all taking time out of your day to come and eat a muffin and read a book with us! Also, a HUGE Shout Out to the kitchen staff for the awesome muffins!! DELICIOUS!!!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Muffins With Moms!!! The kitchen will start serving at 7:45!! If you can't make it, we have found some awesome volunteers to help us out!!! Also, if you can stay, we will have a quick Title 1 Meeting right after. If you are wondering what Title does for your child or what MTSS is, this would be the meeting to attend. The agenda is linked! Also, last but not least, the Book Fair will be open to parents AFTER students head back to class. Please let your child know that it will not be open for them before school, but will be open over lunch recess and after school if they want to shop!!

Summerland One-Act took to the stage today for NVC competition. Students performed excellent. Results later today! They will be in action again on Saturday at the LHNE Invite in Norfolk.

The Scholastic Book Fair is up and running!! We have had a lot of eager shoppers!! Please make sure that you know how much money your child is bring and please make sure that they know your limit!!! If cash is being used, we are rounding up to the nearest .05/.10 to make things easier!! Checks and Credit Cards can be exact amounts. Teachers have also collected books and put in totes as a wish list for their classroom! Those books can be purchased for that classroom and will be added to that classroom library!! Thanks in advance for supporting out Book Fair!!!
