Students in natural resources have been learning about soil properties, structure, and functions. Today they used several different soils including sand, loam, clay, and a compacted sample to test infiltration rates and to see how well each soil filtered out green food coloring!
Summerland Public Schools is selling the following pieces of weight equipment.
Squat rack - $150
Decline bench - $150
Curl and glute/ham machine - $75 each

"Grab and Go" Grandparent's Day is quickly approaching! It will be held on November 8th! Form are coming home today! They need to be returned by Oct 30th! If the form is not back by the deadline, we encourage you to still come, but there may not be enough food!

Austin is always so willing to help ANYONE that needs help or assistance; he regularly jumps up without being asked. Recently he was the only person to help a classmate who had spilled a box of pencils.
Austin has been a great addition to Elementary Student Council this year - full of energy and the desire for positive change. Austin plants many seeds of kindness here at Summerland!
