Our last Keep the Quote winner was 6th grader, Austin Cepel! Each day at lunch, Austin takes time to clean the trash left behind on his lunchroom table. No one asks him to do this, it is something he just does automatically. He takes his time and energy to do something kind for not only his classmates but also our custodians. He is building a positive school culture of voluntarily helping others!

The Bobcat Speech Team Showcase that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th has been rescheduled to Monday, March 4th @ 7:00 pm in consideration of any speakers or supporters traveling to Lincoln to cheer on the Bobcat Basketball team! 🐾
Summerland Bobcat Fans, here is the information regarding next week's trip to the boys state basketball tournament. On Tuesday, March 5, there will be a pep rally at 1:30 in the main gym before the team leaves at 2:00. There will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, March 6 for Summerland Public School as we cheer on the Bobcats in their game that begins at 10:45 am. School WILL BE in session on Thursday, March 7 with a scheduled 1:30 dismissal. Good Luck Bobcats in your quest for a state title.

Last week's Keep the Quote winner was 2nd grader, Colby Hoffman! At a wrestling meet this last weekend, Colby's sportsmanship was phenomenal! After beating an opponent, he was seen sitting with that opponent and giving some words of encouragement. When another wrestler was hurt, he was also seen patting him on the back to make sure he was ok. Colby had a successful meet, not only because he's a good wrestler but also because he did so with love and kindness.
