Summerland community members it has been brought to our attention that there is a scam going on where people are being contacted and asked for money on behalf of the Summerland golf team. There is no fundraiser going on for Summerland golf at this time. There could be other scams out there asking for money on behalf of Summerland. We do not make cold calls to solicit money. If you are ever unsure of a potential fundraiser for our students, please contact the school office.

The jh g basketball games at Neligh-Oakdale next Tuesday 11-11-25 will now begin at 3:00 pm.

Congratulations to Auryana and Ehmyt for being selected to sing at the 2026 Singing Youth of Nebraska! They will travel to Hastings in January for this event!

We had six students write an essay on leadership and then attend the Sizemore sportsmanship pep rally in Lincoln on Monday. It was a great day!

NSAA State wrestling ticket order forms are out. If you would like to order tickets get a form from Coach Roeber or you can print it off the NSAA website. Please return completed form and payment (check or cash) to Coach Roeber by Tuesday December 2nd. There are separate forms for girls and boys.

Antelope County's Annual Ribbon Tree: Applications for the Ribbon Tree are available now to pick up at the Summerland School office, Willows, Arbor Care, Heritage Bank, Pinnacle Bank, AMH Family Practice, Neligh Clinic, Neligh-Oakdale Pre-school, Thriftway, Neligh Library, and at the Neligh-Oakdale website (http://www.nelighoakdaleschools.com). The applications need to be returned to the courthouse to a drop box by the vending machine, or mailed to Antelope County Courthouse, Attn: Ribbon Tree, P.O. Box 26, Neligh, NE 68756 by Friday, November 21st. (or email to smilesalways3@hotmail.com). This ongoing project provides families as well as residents of the Arbor Care and The Willows with an opportunity for a better Christmas. If you’d like to purchase a gift for the Ribbon Tree, you can find them on Christmas trees at the Pinnacle Bank in Neligh and at the Neligh Library on or after November 25th. All gifts should be placed under the trees no later than December 13th.

Did you know? Summerland has an outdoor food pantry on campus, open to anyone that needs it! The food pantry is located under the east end of the outdoor bleachers. Students and families are welcome to take what they need! We will continue to do our best to keep it stocked! It takes a village!
