Good afternoon, Summerland Public School will be letting out at 1:30 this afternoon, Thursday, January 18. There will be no JH basketball today in Atkinson. On Friday, January 19, there will be a 10:00 late start due to the forecasted winds overnight. An announcement will be made in the morning concerning school on Friday. Buses will run where possible. There will be no evening activities at Summerland Public School.
The JrH Boys BB Games that were to be held at West Holt today (1/18/24) have been postponed!
Summerland Public School Foundation Meeting.
An informational meeting to form the Summerland Public School Foundation will be held at the conclusion of the girls junior varsity game in the auxiliary gym Friday, January 19. The approximate time for the meeting will be 5:30 p.m. There is also a TeamMates soup supper in the cafeteria as well.

Good evening Summerland students and parents, due to the drifting and cold temperatures Summerland Public School will have a 10 o’clock late start tomorrow, January 16. There will be NO morning PK. Buses will run where possible. For bus riders, if you feel that a bus or van is unable to get to your house in the morning, please contact your bus driver, and the school office. Students driving to school, please allow for extra time as well. For all students please wear coats, hats, and gloves.
The Girls Wrestling Meet that was to be held tomorrow ( January 15th) at Battle Creek has been postponed!
The JrH Boys Basketball Tournament that was to be held Monday January 15th at Summerland has been cancelled.
Staff that was scheduled to go to Norfolk tomorrow, we will not be attending the mid-year in-service. Instead, all staff should report to school at 10:00 am. We will meet in the aux gym at 10:30 with more information about the day. At this time I don’t have plans for lunch at school, this will be discussed at the meeting.
