Our Keep the Quote winner this week is 6th grader, Preslee Wood.
Preslee is kind and respectful with both her words and her actions. She is helpful in the classroom and also with her younger siblings. When Preslee speaks, she only ever has nice things to say!
Just a reminder that Muffins with Misses forms are DUE TOMORROW (Tuesday, Oct 29th). We will not be accepting late forms as we need to let the kitchen know how many to plan for. If you would happen to forget, we still want you to come, but know that there might not be enough muffins for you. ALL students will be marked for muffins!

Friday Funday Feature: There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Spider!
Blood drive November 19 in the auxiliary gym at Summerland.
2 pair of socks for presenting donors while supplies last, gaming system chance for the students that do donate, Big 10 Challenge to register to win a pair of Big Ten Championship tickets, the scholarship for the seniors and if the FBLA seniors are able to reach goal of 56 productive units, red Cross will treat the FBLA to ice cream sundaes😊. And through the future blood donor drive, if the elementary students are able to recruit a donor, they will receive a gift from the American Red Cross and what ever class recruits the most they will receive ice cream sandwiches.
Summerland is hosting the GNAC Consolation and Championship Games TONIGHT!!! Summerland vs West Holt @ 5:30 and Elkhorn Valley vs LCC @ 7:00! Tonight the Bobcat football team enjoyed an Italian feast provided by the parents. The seniors presented Coach Thramer with a signed football with their picture on it. Best of luck to our Bobcats as they take on Elkhorn Valley tomorrow night in playoffs. Go Bobcats!!

Your child will be bringing 2 letters home today! The first one is "Muffins With Misses!" PLEASE NOTE the DEADLINE date!! It is OCTOBER 29th. If you turn it in after the 29th, we still want you to come but know that there might not be enough muffins for you! We have a deadline that we need to meet so the kitchen has time to order what they need!
The 2nd letter is about the Scholastic Book Fair. The new location will be in the Library. Students will be allowed a chance to make a wish list to bring home! The Fair will be open before school starting at 7:30, after school until 4:15, and during lunch recess! Your child can shop during those times, BUT if shopping after school, please know the bus WILL NOT wait for them! We will also be open after "Muffins With Misses" and by appointment! If you need to come in at a different time, please talk to Mrs. Mlnarik! There is also info about how to set up eWallet! It's pretty handy! Kids don't need to bring money! We will be rounding up to the nearest $.05 or $.10 as well! Happy Shopping!
