Business Law students enjoyed a day touring our state capitol and watching legislators debate. Senator Decay visited with us and showed us other parts of the capitol that weren't on the tour.

No School Tomorrow
Due to the forecasted winter weather, SPS will NOT have school tomorrow Wednesday, 3-19-25. No before or after school activities.
Officer John Shaver came to visit kindergarten today! He answered a ton of questions and read them a story about being a police officer.
A HUGE Thank You to the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms for their generous donation through the Henry's Heroes Books for Schools program. The SPS Bobcat Library received a Bilingual Book Cart containing over 75 books in both English and Spanish.
A HIGE SHOUT OUT to the Ewing Members Club, Clearwater Fire Department and the Ewing Fire Department for donating 3 Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) to Summerland School! Hopefully we never have to use them, but we all know life threatening conditions need quick action and adding these AED's to our building along with the ones we have will save us valuable time in the event of an emergency! Again, thank you and we appreciate you!

Hey Everyone! Just a reminder to get your Basketball Camp Forms in! Depending on numbers, Ady and Josilyn may have to put a limit on how many they can take.
The Elementary "Lucky to Have You Dance" is TONIGHT!!! It will run from 6:00-7:30. Doors will be unlocked at 5:45. We ask that all Elementary Students are accompanied by someone that is 7th Grade and up! Also, please remind your children that they are not to be running around in the hallways or the gym. The doors that lead to the band room hallway will be off limits. They will need to use the Elementary restrooms/water fountain! With that being said, get out those dancing shoes and get ready to boogie!

Good morning Bobcat fans the boys basketball team will be playing in Lincoln tomorrow morning at 10:45 am at the Devaney sports center, the tickets for this can be purchased on gofan, there is a link to the ticket information on the NSAA-basketball page of their website. The session is boys C2 session 4 9:00am which currently lists Freeman, EM, Friend, and Archbishop Bergan as teams in the session, this is Summerland session however we aren't currently listed on the gofan page. This is our session to purchase tickets for.
