Muffins with Misses/Moms was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had over 300 eating Muffins this morning! Thank you to the cooks for the muffins and to those that took time out of their morning to hang out with us!! More pictures will be on the Summerland Bobcat Facebook page!!

Muffins with Moms/Misses will begin at 7:45 tomorrow (Oct 11th)! We will be celebrating all the Summer Reading Challenge Winners!! There will also be a Title 1 Yearly Meeting following in the Common's Area!! If you have Title questions, this is the Meeting for you! We will discuss all things Title, Nebraska Reads Act, IRIP's and Non-Classroom Testing that your child takes!
The Lady Bobcat Volleyball Team will be headed to Wayne tonight to take on the Blue Devils! C Team will start at 5:30 followed by JV (6:30) and Varsity (7:30). Elementary Parents/Guardians: To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all parents and visitors who come to Summerland Elementary should enter through the main doors by the office entrance, not the elementary doors. The only time the elementary doors should be used for entrance is for the afternoon preschoolers. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
7th grade Ag students got to make butter today in mason jars to end the dairy unit!
Several FFA members held a farm safety day in the elementary this morning! They talked to the kids about grain bin safety and the importance of being safe on the farm! With harvest in full swing, it's always important to talk about farm safety, especially with children. We wish all the producers a safe and bountiful harvest!
