Students in natural resources are in their water quality unit. They are sampling water from the Elkhorn River to determine its water quality index rating. They have done temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and biochemical oxygen demand. Next week they will do total solids, turbidity, and nitrate tests!

Sixth grade used air dry clay and chop sticks to write their name in cuneiform while listening to the Epic of Gilgamesh to enhance their learning about Mesopotamia. Thanks to the family who donated the materials to do this project!
