My Goal: “Make Summerland Public School the absolute BEST school in Nebraska”
I am proud to be the Principal & AD at Summerland High School and to wear the Bobcat Blue. I am a graduate of Kearney State College (BA) and Wayne State College (MS) and have been employed in the Ewing/Summerland School System for 29 years. I have been coaching baseball and basketball for thirty-five years. My wife Kaye is the business teacher at O’Neill High School and I have three wonderful children. Kelsey, 27, teaches and coaches at Norris. Lindsey, 26, is married and lives in Lincoln with her husband Michael Collins, and Justin, 22, is finishing up college at UNL. An interesting tidbit about me is that my nephew, Miles Austin, played in the NFL for ten years and mainly with the Dallas Cowboys.
